Hi there, Before I head to bed, just got a scam text. It shows the logo of BMO, a legitimate and respected brand. No, it is not from BMO, do NOT visit the website below.
“(2) new pending notifications on your profile. Visit http://bmo-summary2-digital.com/
First red flag. http://bmo-summary2-digital.com does not look like a legitimate url. Second red flag: There is no "s" after http. The "s" indicates that there is a security certificate involved. The legitimate brand would have the "s", and would have a security certificate.

Another thing to take note of, is the date registered. 2023-09-07. This is the date registered with the hosting company located in Europe. I received the message 2023-09-06 at 1957 Pacific time in North America. The messages were sent in bulk just hours after registration. If this was a legitimate BMO message centre, it would be a lot older than a few hours.
